The author, Jacques Nathan-Garamond, better known as "Nathan".
After the Second World War, he became a graphic designer and worked with all kinds of artistic works,
such as designing posters for a UNESCO exhibition on human rights in 1949.
He has designed books, illustrations, posters and corporate identities.
He has done commercial work for companies like Mazda, Air France and Telefunken.
