Vintage poster Coco L'esprit de Chanel,
Vanessa Paradis, 1991
In 1991, Jean Paul Goude directed one of the most famous films of the Chanel house for its perfume "Coco". At the beginning of 1991, it is necessary to find a new muse to replace Ines de la Fressange left because of a quarrel with Karl Lagarfeld. The singer Vanessa Paradis is chosen.
Important shooting: 80 technicians, 380 kilos of light, three months of writing and an internship of 3 weeks for the singer in a circus school. In this film, we find a bird-woman in a golden cage swinging on a stormy night, whistling, watched by a big white devious tomcat. Suddenly, the ghost of Coco Chanel comes to close the perfume bottle....
At the same time, a poster campaign completed the operation, with more than 13,000 billboards spread throughout France.
