Dubonnet is a French aperitif made of wine, herbs and spices, created in 1846.
It is often consumed as an aperitif, served chilled or on the rocks, and is also used in the preparation of many cocktails such as Dubonnet-Cassis, Dubonnet-Soda and Dubonnet-Gin.
The company was very successful in France and around the world, and in 1976 it was bought by the Pernod Ricard group, which is now one of the largest spirits companies in the world.
Since the acquisition of Dubonnet by Pernod Ricard, the company continues to produce and distribute the Dubonnet aperitif, as well as other products in the range, such as wines and spirits.
